Really good hamburger and fries. Will be back.

I have not been here for several months so I was surprised we were seated without a wait. The Nays:The menus were unclean and the potato soup was sour and smelt bad. A medium burger was delivered to the table almost rare. We had 11 people in our group and the food came out at different times with some of our group waiting about 4-6 minutes for there meals to arrive.The good part were the appetizers they were good and plenty for sharing.

The food was GREAT! Our waitress Haley was excellent and the atmosphere was awesome. I would recommend if you are in the area to give it a try.

The food was delicious and our server Moss was awesome. Made sure we had everything we needed.

Good food and atmosphere, sports bar... Really enjoyed the beer battered French fries

Great sports bar hands down. They have some of the best drinks!! Always a pleasure to stop here during football or basketball season. If your game not showing, they will find it for you. Great experience every time I've stop here. Thanks again Pickle Barrel

Service is friendly and timely. Food is quite good with generous portions. If you're there for the sports you have plenty of screens to choose from. Beer selection is okay, mostly AB and other mainstream stuff on tap with better choices in bottles.

It was great!!! Food was only a little slow bc they only had one fryer. But the food was still amazing and the waitress was very nice!!! We will Definitely come back the next time we are here!

Great customer service. Always seem to visit when it's slow and all workers still pleasant and happy to help.

Love this place!! Food is always good. I always try something different and it never disappoints. Loved my wicked burger! (despite the spicy pimento cheese. It's probably not spicy to anyone who actually eats spicy foods.) Get the fries, they're awesome!!🤤

Hate is not a fair term to use to describe this place. Perhaps more like pity. While I have always found the food to be tasty, the staffing leaves much to be desired. And by desired, I mean it is non-existent & the owners really desire good people to become employees. On more than one occasion I have been greeted by a server telling me it would be a 45min wait in an empty restaurant because there is no one to wait on the table or cook the order.

We waited for over an hour to get our food. 4 people altogether. Service was slow but food was very nice and place was clean. Good restaurant overall, just wish they had faster service. Oh and the appetizers, don’t miss out. You have to get at least one, they are amazing.

My new favorite spot!!! I brought my grandfather here for some good food and quality time! We were greeted at the door ⭐️. Our waitress was super busy, but she took care of us⭐️. It was our first time, and she was patient with us as we went back and forth over the menu. My grandfather had grits with fried shrimp, and he LOVED it⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️!!! He is such a hard person to please when it comes to food. I had hot wings with salad, it was great! I can’t wait to come back and visit!

Ordered food for pick up. Asked the waitress where to pick up food, she told me to wait one second and then ran off to get other people’s drink order and other things without telling me I should’ve just gone to the bar. Thanked the bartender for everything and got ignored. Got home with the food and the well done burger was close to raw. The baked potato was raw. The loaded fries were terrible.

Came in on a sunday right at lunch time, no wait to be seated, got the trip sampler and burgers ( the Pemento Cheese was amazing) and can not say enough how good it was. The fries were fresh made in house, not my favorite but definitely not bad by any means and much better than any standard froozen bag of fries that some restaurants try to put out as their own. Service was great, waitress was friendly and made multiple rounds checking on things. Will come back again while still in town.Edit, came back before leaving town and it was just as delicious as the first time, service was good and I am saddened that they are not closer to my home.

Definitely my favorite place to eat in the area. The food is great I’ve tried about everything they have. The atmosphere is amazing. Everybody on staff is friendly. Cathy the general manager does a great job, I see her go out her way to make sure she speaks to everyone and for me that deserves a 5 star++++

Great service and delicious food

I thought it was a good place...the burgers were good (i recommend the big bob burger) but......those fries were something else...its almost like they weren't done. Drinks were nice... Nice staff...only problem were the fries

One of my favorite places to eat and unwind. I love there Ham and Cheese Melt and soups. Ive never had anything bad here. The pretzel with beer cheese is really good when cooked right. Its a hit or miss on that one. The staff is always friendly as well.

The servers are always friendly. The food is great. Atmosphere is pleasant. The battered fries are a plus.

Love this place, this was my first visit the food was great I had a rough week and the bartender Josh was very sweet and talkative. Everyone who came in was friendly and it was an all around good environment. People from all walks of life go in and get along there. Definitely worth a try.

2018-7 So far the best sports bar we have experienced in the area. Sandwiches. and pizza are great. Good value with friendly and very good service. Definitely a place to return to for a playoff game or maybe the Olympics.2019-7 update. Still my favorite casual restaurant. Great food for a good price. I like the atmosphere and staff and come away full and satisfied. Great sandwiches, wings and pizza.

Good place to hang out decent sports bar

This place is absolutely rediculous they messed up my order and kept forwarding my call and sending me to voice mail over 6 times. I tried calling multiple time to see if they would fix my order. They are unprofessional and rude if this is how you like to treat your customers then why be open. This was such bad Customer service i wont be going back.

Food was reasonably priced. Not the BEST quality but pretty good none the less. Great atmosphere

Sometimes Greene County has few places other than fast food. Good food here, and pub atmosphere.

The atmosphere is pleasant, the staff friendly. The menu was a combination of wings, burgers and sandwiches mainly. The portions were generous and I thought, priced reasonably. They have live music but as I visited at lunch, I can't comment on that!

Haven't been impressed the 3 times I've been there. I decided to try it again because I wasn't feeling well and wanted some baked potato soup. The baked potato soup was separated and looked slightly curdled. My co-worker said it smelled spoiled to them. I only ordered soup and got a fork and no spoon. The server that gave me my more recent order was very nice, but in the past it has taken forever to get help. I probably won't be back there.

Understaffed for memorial day weekend. Was there over 2 hours to get cold sub par food. I would not recommend eating here.

Mostly empty restaurant. One other table that came in after us . Group of four, all ordered salads and it took over an hour and a half to get our food. The table that came in shortly after us had four hot made meals come out way before ours. I had to get my own utensils. $40 for two salads and a small appetiter RIDICULOUS

Lunchtime restaurant choices in the Lake Oconee area are limited and even more so after my first and last visit to the Pickle Barrel Cafe today. We arrived and were told to seat ourselves. Shortly after, the only waitress in the place took our order. 43 minutes later, our meals were brought to the table and the server left. The order was correct and the food tasted good but the temperature of the food was not- does anyone want cold cheese grits? The server finally came back 20 minutes later to drop off the check. By this time, we only had a few minutes to get to an appointment so we didn’t say anything. It appears this place was extremely short staffed but that’s not the customers problem- I won’t be back anytime soon. Most people can’t afford to take 1-1/2 hours for lunch.

Went for lunch yesterday and ordered the Philly with fries. The fries were terrible. They were just little bits that looked re-cooked. Ordered more and the new batch was barely any better. Also the Philly was so salty I could still taste the salt a couple hrs later The waitress was obviously new and left me waiting several times. It was not busy. I've eaten at the Pickle Barrel many times. No more, it doesn't seem to ever get any better.

The food was absolute perfection! The staff was attentive and personable. Even made a couple of new friends! I highly recommend this establishment.

I have been here 3 times now and have a great time. There is a good atmosphere and I always feel welcomed. I asked for a spicy bbq sauce for my wings and they had the folks in back make it special for me. They could have easily said they didn’t have it. The bartender Corey is awesome. Super friendly and funny. I haven’t had too much to eat here but I love their boneless wings. My buddy got the Steak Philly and it was huge and looked Great. My other buddy ordered the Pimento Cheese Sandwich and he liked it. The toast was on point for the sandwich.

I usually get the Fish n Chips with fries and it's usually good.

Food very good. Need to get big screen TV fixed before next Georgia game.

Couldn't ask for a better neighborhood get together bar/restaurant. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Menu has pretty much what you would expect prepared quickly and tasty,

I really enjoyed this place! The food was delicious and reasonable and the atmosphere was very chill and laid back. I would love to see how it is during the evening hours.

I was very impressed by this place! Although the service was slower than I would have liked and parts of the order incorrect, the staff was friendly, the food was great and unique, and the atmosphere was wonderful! Lots of screens with different games on and they even had sound that you could pick up and thus follow the commentary somewhat. I will certainly make it a point to stop by The Pickle Barrel Cafe & Sports Pub the next time I'm in town and highly recommend this place.

Server had an attitude. He looked stressed and charged me for someone else's order. Geez.

My daughter brought me here after work, for lunch. The fried pickles were there BEST I've found! The atmosphere was very relaxed and warm. The table we sat at made it unforgettable!! I had the lemon pepper boneless nuggets with beer battered fries. I couldn't finish it!! Not only will I be back, but I'm bringing my friends and family! 💓

This was our second time to go to Pickle Barrel Cafe. The food choices are great and just what we needed after a full day of driving.

Consistently the slowest restaurant. If you have a couple hours to kill for a mediocre dinner, this is an option.

Not my first time going but it was the 1st time that EVERYTHING was PERFECT. My food and drinks were PERFECT.
